Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Impactful Marketing with Mark (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you use imwmark.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.

Who We Are

Impactful Marketing with Mark is a digital marketing practice based in Los Angeles, California, providing Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram advertising, web development, and e-commerce services. For any privacy question, contact us at imarketingwmark@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form on our site, we collect:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • The message you write to us
  • Any marketing communication consent you give on the form

You may also send us this information directly by email. We only ask for what we need in order to reply to you and discuss working together.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of each request. This is used to keep the site running securely and is not used to build a profile of you.

Advertising and retargeting information. We and our advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to record which pages you visit, how you arrived, and whether you took an action such as submitting our form. This is used to measure our advertising and to show you our ads on other websites and platforms after you leave. See Advertising, Retargeting & Analytics below for who is involved and how to opt out.

What we do not collect. We do not collect payment details through this site, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, health information, or precise geolocation.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use three kinds of cookies and similar technologies on this site:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the site to load and function securely. These cannot be turned off.
  • Form and CRM. Our contact form is provided by HubSpot. When it loads, HubSpot may set cookies — including an anonymous visitor identifier — so it can recognise a returning visitor and connect a form submission to earlier visits. These are set by HubSpot and governed by HubSpot’s privacy policy.
  • Advertising and retargeting. Cookies and pixels from advertising platforms that let us measure our campaigns and show you our ads elsewhere after you visit. These are described in the next section.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of advertising cookies using the methods below. The site will still work, though the contact form may not function correctly if you block HubSpot cookies entirely.

Advertising, Retargeting & Analytics

We advertise our services online. To do that, we place tracking pixels and tags from advertising platforms on this website. These record your visit and allow the platform to recognise you later on its own services or on other sites in its network, so that we can show you a follow-up advertisement. This practice is commonly called retargeting or remarketing.

The platforms we use include:

  • Google (Google Ads and Google remarketing tags) — privacy policy
  • Meta (the Meta/Facebook Pixel, used for Facebook and Instagram advertising) — privacy policy
  • Microsoft Advertising (the Bing UET tag) — privacy statement

We may add or change advertising platforms over time. These platforms set their own cookies and act as independent controllers of the data they collect through their pixels, meaning they use it under their own privacy policies as well as for our campaigns. We do not send them your name, email address, or the contents of your message from this website.

Under California law, using these technologies may be considered “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money. You can opt out of this sharing at any time using the methods below.

Your Advertising Choices

You can limit or stop this tracking in several ways:

Opting out stops interest-based advertising; it does not stop you seeing ads generally, and it does not affect your ability to contact us.

How We Use Your Information

  • To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
  • To discuss, quote, and deliver marketing services you ask us about
  • To send you marketing communications, where you have agreed to receive them
  • To measure our advertising and show you our ads on other platforms after you visit
  • To keep our website secure and functioning
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations

We do not use your information for any purpose you have not agreed to, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with the providers that help us operate and advertise:

  • HubSpot — our CRM and form provider. Contact form submissions are stored here.
  • Vercel — our website host, which processes server logs.
  • Google Fonts — serves the fonts used on this site. Google receives your IP address when a font loads.
  • Google, Meta, and Microsoft Advertising — receive browsing activity through the advertising pixels described above, which under California law may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our legal rights. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

How Long We Keep It

We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business relationship, and afterwards only as long as required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Delete your personal information
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising — see Your Advertising Choices
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information, which we do not collect
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

If you are a California resident, these rights are provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, you have equivalent rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email imarketingwmark@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Marketing Emails

If you have agreed to receive marketing from us, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing us directly. Opting out of marketing does not stop us replying to an enquiry you send us.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and we rely on established providers with their own security programs to store your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access.

Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Links

Our site links to external sites, including our Facebook and Instagram profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
